Preparations began for the construction of
the new surface tunnel entrance, approved by the Central Mine Safety Office.
Site grading was completed externally, and H-beams intended as reinforcement
for the upper ceiling and inner walls after excavation were delivered, cut, and
processed for installation.
Base plates for securing the H-beams were also fabricated in-house.
